Good Morning Everyone! I hope you all have been well! Sorry I haven't been able to blog lately.. I have had some very stressful things going on in my life and just have not found the time. I'm hoping this is the start of getting back in to it though! I just thought I would share some earrings I made yesterday, below are the descriptions:

• Yellow: These are long silvertone earrings. I used both shiny and frosted silver coatings for these. They have pale yellow and white pearls at the top, yellow feathers and accent charms (one flower & one leaf).

• Purple: These are also pretty long. They each have three wings, 1 large and 2 small. The beads are two different shades of purple pearls and these are antique silvertone.

• Aqua: This pair is a little shorter as you can see. Each earring has two beads, 1 clear and 1 Aqua Blue. Both earrings also have an adorable Sparrow connector. Antique silvertone is used on this pair as well.

The earrings below are listed on my FB FanPage and the prices are $16 for the yellow & Purple pairs and $14 for the blue + FREE SHIPPING in the USA (shipping to other countries available, just need to get rates)! New Pendant: Ice Crystals

Here is a pendant I made last night... I'm contemplating on how to bead the chain... but I just wanted to share.. It is very pretty in person and the crystal color is super gorgeous! I'm thinking about keeping it very "light" since the crystals on the piece are a blue ice crystal, maybe some iridescent clear glass beads on a long chain since the pendant is quite large... hmmmm decisions... decisions... :D

OPINIONS PLEASE: New Resin Settings

Hi everyone!! I'm basically writing this entry to see if I can get some feedback from my amazing fans & followers. I have all of these new colored resin settings and placed some of my cameos on them that I think would look nice.. now I want to know what you think! I only have one of each of these colored settings at the moment... and of course, once mounted these will still need to be crystallized.. but I wanted to see if you could help me out and give me some feedback.... GOOD or BAD... All feedback is good feedback if it is sent in a helpful way in my opinion. So please feel free to be honest..

Hey everyone.... due to today being a long day and me going to NYC tomorrow, I will not be able to post the items for my challenge days until at least Thursday... So sorry, I will be making the items, I'm just extremely limited for time.

I did want to share some exciting news though! One of my new clients is the AMAZING model "Queen Esther" {Esther Hanuka}!! Esther has been seen in Magazines such as Tattoo Magazine, Rix Magazine, Dub Magazine, Inked Magazine and many many more... She is one of my idols and one of the most gorgeous ladies I have ever talked to both inside and out... She is one of the nicest and down to earth people I have met in a while. Challenge Day 9: Death Princess Cameos

Hi everyone, it's day 9 for my challenge!I am almost a third of the way through already! These were actually started on Day 8 and finished today.. This is a set of four Death Princess Cameo Necklaces. The colors are Yellow/Salmon, Green/White, Fuchsia/Violet, Gray/Blue. They are all on silvertone metal and all come with an accent black satin bow on the top. I absolutely loves these, they are large cameos and stunning in my opinion... I can say I will be a little sad to see any of these go once I put them up for sale... :p

Challenge Day 7&8: Necklaces

Due to traveling, I am a little delayed on posts.. so here are the two thinks I made for days 7 & 8 of my challenge. Day 7 I made the necklace on the left... It is silvertone and hand crystallized. It has pink, purple, teal, and turquoise gems. Day 8 was a custom piece made for a customer.. It is an ivory & black flower cameo with champagne and white crystals around the outside of the cameo.

Challenge Day 6: Rings!

Hey everyone! Today I am a little pressed for time due to going out of state... so I just made something small and simple. Here are a couple of rings.. They are both adjustable. The black and white skull cameo is on a silvertone ring setting and has accent black & white pearls. The other ring in gunmetal and has a magenta/pink feather wrap and a light cotton candy pink dahlia with accent pearls and clear crystals.

Challenge Day 5: Feather Necklace

Today I made quite a few things again.. I had a few orders to fill and ended up packaging them up without taking photos.. haha go me right! Anyways, I made a wing necklace that was similar to the wing earrings from the ViviKa 2011 Line. She wanted the earrings, but I chose not to duplicate anything from my "V" lines.. but she is still excited about the necklace.. It happens to be one of the items I didn't get a photo of... but it was a black wing, with gunmetal chain with accent glass pink/purple beads... the wing had purple crystals and behind the wing was a feather attachment that had different shades of pink/purple feathers.. It was very pretty! She ALSO bought the pink crystallized skull cameo from the ViviKa 2011 line. I am actually a little sad to see that one go, it was one of my favorite pieces... but I could tell in her emails that she will be VERY happy to own it. ❤

On to my item for today... I have had this large frosted silver feather pendant for some time now. It actually is from another necklace I bought just for the pendant.. I do that sometimes, I very rarely wear any jewelry the way I buy it.. haha, I always have to tweak it in some way. This necklace has the large frosted silver feather as well as textured frosted silver pearls on the one side with silver crystal pieces connecting them to one another. I decided to use gunmetal instead or regular silver just for the contrast of dark/light... If i would have used regular silver, I think it would have been far too bland for my personal style. :}

Challenge Day 4: Butterfly Necklace

Delayed on the post because I was so busy yesterday.. I actually mad a lot of items yesterday. I posted them in my AVAILABLE ITEMS album on my Facebook FanPage {PLEASE fan me if you haven't}. I also have other items available from my ViKtoria & ViviKa lines that you can view as well on my FanPage and in my Etsy Shop.

The reason I chose to showcase this specific necklace that I made yesterday over the others is because my mom actually made the center butterfly for me a long time ago out of clay... I haven't been able to figure out anything to make for myself with it until yesterday! I have seriously had it for at least a year. She creates a lot of really awesome pieces out of polymer clay such as canes, beads, jewelry, fancy jars and also cool things like this butterfly... She has an etsy shop for her clay designs, so please "heart" her. She also does a lot of leather work and has a separate etsy shop for her leather... so please also "heart" her on there. ❤

I apologize... but this necklace will not be for sale, I just wanted to show you how pretty it was. Maybe in the future if I can get her to design me more cool butterfly's I can make something similar... and sell them... but until then, this piece has meaning to me.. and it's just not available. Please let me know what you think though in a comment below! I greatly appreciate all the feedback from everyone!

Challenge Day 3: Pretty Little Spiders

Today's pieces are these awesome spider pendants. I am just in love with them! They are large hand-painted filigree pieces with large antique silver spiders on them. The spiders have been hand-jeweled by me with crystals and a tiny accent metallic rose has been added to each to compliment the paint color on the filigree.

Challenge Day 1: Cosmetic Set

I made this cosmetic set today.. It is so pretty in person. I took some fabulous brand new cosmetic accessories and used metallic rose, cameos, black pearls and crystals to make them pretty. The brush is a "Laura Mercer" brand brush and it comes with a matching mini jar for loose shadows or a dab of face primer for your purse... you can use it for just about anything. I hope to have more sets to come in the near future. They will all be unique cosmetic accessories due to the face that , I do not buy these in bulk. They will all be one of a kind as well for the same reason. I hope you like them, please let me know what you think!! Thanks everyone!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to "Update" and let you know that I am going to start blogging on my personal blog {this one} a little different. I plan to have it solely focused on updates on what I am doing and what I am creating. I tried really hard to write article write ups and such and I believe it's honestly why I don't blog much. I get bored, so I simply don't feel like blogging. If I find an article randomly to be interesting, of course I will still feature/write about it.... I just feel the need to re-vamp how I am doing business... and how I am representing myself to the internet world :}

DIY: Rainbow Fishitail Braid {Free People}

I came across this DIY video of someone showing you how to braid a rainbow fish-tail braid and fell in love. I have LOVED these kind of braids since I was really little and never even thought to incorporate color :} This completely made my week and I had to share it with all of you! Sneak Peak: Cameos

I just recently received a new shipment of cameos the other day, so I thought I would share a sneak peak for what is to come this Autumn. I currently have this exact cameo with the colors shown as well as white on black. Mine may or may not be put in the same setting, I haven't decided yet. What I did decide though is.... Once my Facebook FanPage hits 2000 Fans... which is hopefully VERY soon, I will be giving away a FREE Cameo necklace to one of my Fans (chosen at random). If the person isn't interested in the cameo I choose to have as the winning prize, I will just select someone new. It's simple.

HOW IT WILL WORK: The cameo that will be the prize will be chosen and shown once I hit 2000 Fans. The Hills Finale... tear

Everyone is talking about it.. It's official, the Hills had it's last show ever last night. I do have to admit after watching every season, I was completely disappointed. I thought the finale was terrible. It basically just said Audrina is alone and an adult now, Kristen is going on vacation for a while.. and Lo... FAR TOO MUCH time was focused on her. She wasn't even a MAIN character, she was friends with all of them. Oh, and Stephanie turned out to not be a nut job and got a boyfriend.

The after show, I just feel like the hosts were extremely obnoxious. The female host was wearing this dress that looked as if the incredible hulk exploded on her. It was gross. So ugly, she will most likely be on the next worst dress list. She also stated that she wanted to be Brody's "little sister, he had sex with" Class at it's finest on national television. Oh... and no Heidi and Spencer on the finale.. I'm not a fan at all, but they should have been on there at least for half the time they focused on Lo. And... They didn't even show what Justin Bobby was going to be doing now.. he was my favorite character.. The only one that seemed genuinely real the entire show.

I can say.. Kristen was much more entertaining the Lauren though.. I liked Lauren too, but she should have went to the City with Whitney, so Whitney's first season wasn't so incredibly boring. Whitney just wasn't extroverted enough to be given her own show back then..

So disappointing MTV... for something that started six years ago. Audrina and Stephanie did look pretty fabulous though at the after show!!! I am still hoping that Audrina and Justin Bobby live out their "Happily Ever After" :}

I just bought this juice from the produce section at the grocery store. It's pomegranate lemonade, I believe it may be organic... but don't hold me to it. It's made my Mayer Bros. Everyone MUST TRY IT!!! It is the most amazing tasting lemonade I have ever had! I drank half the bottle in one sitting.. and it wasn't expensive at all! Two bottles for $5!!!! I naturally have wavy/curly hair that turns into a big frizzy mess with out product when I don't straighten it. But these products have changed that. No more mouse/hairspray when I don't feel like straightening my hair. These products make my hair dry super soft with no frizz!

From Left to Right:
Tigi Catwalk Fashionista Smooth & Shine: This product is perfect if you straighten your hair. It helps protect your hair from heat damage and also helps make it smooth and shiny without the greasy feel/look. I usually use this product alone if I know I am going to just be straightening my hair.

Tigi Bed Head After Party: This is a lightweight smoothing cream. It can be used on wet or dry hair. I use this in combination with the next product on days when I don't have time to straighten my hair. I just put it on my towel dried hair and go.

Tigi Rockaholic Born To Rock: This Leave-In Detangler & Defrizzer is an anti-frizz leave-In conditioner for rock stars! Like stated before... I use this in combination with the BedHead After Party.. Feeling Blue?

Of course you are!! If you haven't noticed, blue is in this season and has been for the last couple seasons. I have posted about it in the past.. I think blue is here to stay for a while and I personally, am okay with that! I love seeing all the vibrant shades of blue designers have been sharing recently in their fabulous world.

Surprisingly.. blue is supposed to be a color that causes depression. It slows human metabolism and produces a calming effect sometimes to the extent of depression. This is why they say not to watch too much television. A television actually sets off blue light, which you would be able to see if you were walking passed a dark room with just the television on. If you haven't seen it, I'm sure you will at some point... if you aren't trying it right now.

Blue is also strongly associated with tranquility and calmness. In today's fashion... this is hard to believe. The Royal blues designers use in recent fashion are far from calming. They are vibrant and BEAUTIFUL! Some designers that have used blues are The House of Valentino, Alberta Ferretti, Peter Som and many MANY more.

The blues that are in for Spring and Summer of 2010 are shades such as cobalt, navy, marine, and light dusty blues. Keep these in mind while shopping. You want to be stunning and fashionable this season right?

Get creative this season with your wardrobe, and definitely... let the blues get to you. It's okay to feel blue, just ask Valentino.

Curl Up & Dye

I am one for finding a great product and sticking with it... especially when it comes to cosmetics. They are either great or just flat out suck.. There is no in between. This weekend I stopped at walmart to grab a couple of things with my husband and I found a center isle stand with all of the new HARDCANDY Products. I needed mascara... so I decided to try it.. I just LOVED the packaging! They are all designed with a tattoo/ink style. Just gorgeous.

Anyways, I bought the Curl up and Dye Mascara in the color Ink. I only wear black mascara... and i LOVE it!! It is sort of a really wet consistency rather than a thicker texture, so it doesn't clump! Also, mine is super black and when it dries... it stays jet black. I think I may be shopping at walmart for mascara from now on. :} Thanks to HARDCANDY and their great new line! OH!! and it was seriously ONLY $6!

This Year Please...

Okay so... this needs to be the year for change. I moved to PA in 2004 to go to school with no intention on staying... yet I AM STILL HERE! I feel like if I stay much longer, I will lose my mind. It's an okay city.. I just feel as if I don't belong. I am happily married and want to live HAPPILY EVERY AFTER. Is that too much to ask. I mean, I am a girl.. and that's the dream every single one of us has from birth. PLEASE let me live happily ever after doing what ever it is that I am meant to do. I'm seriously crossing every appendage on my body that this will be the BIG YEAR FOR CHANGE. The sooner the better :}

I want to live somewhere warm, but not too hot with lots of NATURE. I need it in my life. PA has lots of nature, but I would live in the woods if someone would let me. I mean LOTS of nature. But please not too much rain. I'm not dumb, I understand nature needs the rain like I need candy, love, romance etc... but there HAS to be a place that has nature with little rain.. right?

Snowed In again..

Snowed in again.. but I've decided I am going to make some life changing decisions soon. I am going to be looking for more freelance design work (if interested, message me) and may even look into how I can get a book published. I feel that this is a MUST in my future. Maybe not the near future.. but writing takes time. I'm not a huge writer.. but I want the book to be straight from me, good writing our bad. I believe the knowledge I can pass along can really make a HUGE difference for some. Even if it is one person... it will be the most accomplishing feeling I could ever imagine... and to save someone or help someone... THAT is exactly what I was meant to do in life. I'm OBVIOUSLY not doctor material... but I can use what I have to help.

Some of you may or may not know. I am in the process of starting a foundation. It's called Breathe-and-Release. There is a blog, twitter, facebook and myspace. PLEASE ADD THEM ALL!! The actual website will hopefully come this year. The foundations name is dear to me because this is how I fought most of my life battles. I trained myself to breathe-and-release rather than hold everything in with the help from a few very close people. Sometimes it's much harder to do this than others, but that's natural. I want to pass this along to others. I have decided to write a book... to put it ALL out there to help others that are in need of what I needed when I found myself lost the most and had nothing.. no resources. I had a few close people in my life and I consider myself lucky to have them, but the resources would have helped me and helped them help me better. I need to make people believe that it's ok.... and they can learn to breathe-and-release and move passed their troubles.

Things happen in life. I do not believe "God wouldn't put you through things, if he didn't think you could handle them." That is one of the worst things to hear at times. I think it should be a saying that should be erased from everyone's vocabulary. Saying things like this to people in need of help can cause a lot of damage, and a lot of changes in the way they view the world. It is not a nice thing to hear for all people.. to some maybe, but to others.. it could make things a lot worse.

So starting today... I am writing a book. Weather it's published or not.. I don't care.. It will be shared though.. and available for those who are interested.

Thirsty Thursday: WORMY SWAMP PUNCH

Another Halloween Drink!! WORMY SWAMP PUNCH is frozen orange ice ring floats in a swampy sea of pineapple-flavored punch.... Sounds delicious. :}

Preparation time: 15 min Freezing time: 24 hrs
Yield: 28 (1/2-cup) servings

20 assorted gummy worms (not the sour variety)
1 (0.15-ounce) package artificially flavored orange unsweetened soft drink concentrate, prepared according to package directions.
1 (2-liter) bottle lemon lime soda
1 (46-ounce) can pineapple juice
1 (0.13-ounce) package artificially flavored lemon-lime unsweetened soft drink concentrate

Gummy worms, gummy fish, gummy alligators, etc., if desired

Press about 20 gummy worms into bottom of 12-cup Bundt® or tube pan. Pour 6 cups prepared orange-flavored drink mix over gummy worms in pan. Cover; freeze until frozen (at least 24 hours).

At serving time, place soda, pineapple juice and lemon lime drink mix into punch bowl. Stir to mix. Run bottom of Bundt® pan under warm water to release ice ring. Place ice ring in punch bowl.

Garnish with gummy worms and other gummy candies, if desired.

*Substitute 6 cups of any prepared non-carbonated orange drink.

Recipe Tip
If you don’t have a round pan to form the ice ring, you can make wormy ice cubes. Place a gummy worm in each ice cube tray cup and fill with orange drink mix.

Recipe Tip
Large plastic punch bowls are available at party supply stores. Make sure the top opening is at least 11 inches so that the ice ring will fit.

It's getting close to Halloween and I personally... cannot wait! It's by far my favorite holiday!! While researching for this weeks drink I came across this adorable drink. Look how cute these are!! I just cannot wait to try these. I decided to do a Halloween beverage this time so that everyone had something fabulous to make for their Halloween parties this year! Recipe Source

Ingredients

* 2 cups orange juice
* 2 cups milk
* 2 pints orange sherbet
* 4 medium ripe banana
* 2 cups whipped topping
* 18 miniature chocolate chips

Directions

* In four batches, process the orange juice, milk, sherbet and bananas in a blender until smooth. Pour into glasses. Cut a hole in the corner of a pastry or plastic bag; fill with whipped topping. Pipe a ghost shape on top of each beverage. Position chocolate chips for eyes. Yield: 9 servings.

Nutrition Facts: 1 cup equals 243 calories, 6 g fat (5 g saturated fat), 11 mg cholesterol, 57 mg sodium, 44 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 3 g protein.

Thirsty Thursday: Autumn Punch

Fresh-sliced plums garnish a blend of apple-cranberry juice and sweet white wine. MMmmm... Sounds delicious to me. Recipe Source (Nutrition Facts available on site)

Ingredients

* 2 teaspoons whole cloves
* 1/2 of a vanilla bean, split lengthwise
* 1 64-ounce bottle apple-cranberry juice
* 4 medium purple and/or green plums, pitted and sliced
* 1 750-ml bottle Gewurztraminer, or other fruity white wine*
* Ice cubes

Directions

1. Place cloves and vanilla bean in center of a double-thick 6-inch square of 100-percent-cotton cheesecloth. Bring corners of cloth together; tie closed with clean string. Pour apple-cranberry juice into a large container or pitcher. Add plums and spice bag. Cover and chill for 4 to 24 hours.

2. Remove and discard cheesecloth bag. Stir in Gewurztraminer. Serve beverage and plum slices over ice. (Or omit the ice and heat the juice mixture and wine in a 4-quart Dutch oven until hot. Serve in heatproof mugs.) Makes 10 to 12 servings.

*Nonalcoholic Option: Substitute two 12-ounce cans chilled ginger ale for the Gewurztraminer, and serve over ice.

Autumn Trends

Color trends for fall/winter 2009 have been posted for a while now... There are a mixture of brights with blacks as well as these new economically friendly colors. Ruffles and feathers are going to be huge this year as well as thickly knitted sweaters.

I am a huge fan of the brights with the blacks myself. I use the combination quite often. I am also a fan of this more muted palette as well though. There are so very bold and fabulous colors in the mixture.

With all this in mind, I decided to display my new feather earrings in a blog posting. I used a mixture of some of the tones listed in the article as well as some brights alone and with black. I really hope you enjoy!! Comments/Feedback are always welcome. Click here to see more of my new items!!

Thisty Thursday: Lavendar Lemonade

Thought I would try a unique sounding drink for the first recipe I post. I found this recipe here. It sounded really random and unique to me so I am going to try it this weekend. Let me know if anyone else does, and what your thoughts are!!!

INGREDIENTS:
By the Glass:
1.5oz Vodka (Ciroc seems appropriate)
1.5oz Lillet Blanc
1oz Lavender Syrup (recipe below)
1oz Lemon Juice
2oz Chilled Soda Water
French Lavender Flower for Garnish
or By the Pitcher (makes 4 glasses):
3/4 Cups Vodka
3/4 Cups Lillet Blanc
1/2 Cup Lavender Syrup
1/2 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup Chilled Soda Water for each glass
French Lavender Flower for Garnish

Methodology:
Lavender Syrup:
Add equal parts sugar and water to a medium saucepan and bring to boil. Add fresh organic French lavender to taste (or 1/2 cup dried food grade lavender for every 4 cups water/4 cups sugar) and boil for one minute over medium/high heat. Remove from heat and let steep for an hour.

Drink:
Mix first four ingredients with spoon, pour over ice, add chilled soda water and garnish with lavender flower (or lemon wedges if you can’t find fresh organic lavender).

Owls are in a I just love it. Everywhere I look people have owls somewhere in some sort of fashionable way. I make jewelry and absolutely have to buy anything owl to create with when ever I see them. I mean how could you not love them? They are such gorgeous creatures.... maybe this is why I envy Harry Potter just a little bit ;}

I am a huge fan of this trend. Birds are said to symbolize things such as freedom, hope and when their wings are open it is said that this usually symbolizes eternal life. Some may disagree or not believe in symbolism for these beautiful creatures, but I personally believe that putting them into fashion is just genius. This very comfy dress/shirt can be found here I just love this style, you could dress it up or down. Add some leggings and a short boot or maybe some stilettos and skinny jeans. If you are feeling really sexy just go with bare legs and a high heel. Any way you wear this, it's fabulous and comfy.

The artist started out as a fine artist producing contemporary office decoration artwork for Moscow based companies while studying for their first degree in Graphic Design. In 2004 Yulia moved to London, then earned an M.A. in Graphic Communication and since then has been busy with parallel careers as an illustrator and a freelance graphic designer.

Hina Aoyama is and extremely talented paper cutting Japanese artist who currently resides in France. It's hard to believe, but she creates all or her extremely detailed pieces with just one pair of scissors. Hina was just featured in the new book by Gestalten, Tangible: High Touch Visuals. She sells some of her work on Etsy and she also has a lot of different pieces on her blog.

Proof that recycling can be very sexy. This incredibly gorgeous dress was created from a phonebook. I found this artist on flickr. This is just amazing to me, the time that must have been spent on the details. What an artist. They created it for their Creative Processes class. The design of this paper dress was created and made purely out of phonebook paper! Just genius. The artist pleated, stuck, sewed, and glued everything by hand.

Franc Grom, a Slovenian artist, creates egg art using an electric boring tool. His designs are so amazing, you should look him up if you are reading this. The results are stunning and as laborious as the finest of craftsmen from past centuries. The eggs that this amazing artist creates have approximately 2,500 to 3,500 holes (he has been known to drill up to17,000 in one piece). The results are just stunning! I would have never thought that something so delicate could be made even more fragile and precious. Simply amazing!!
